It’s been a while since I have posted. Life! But now I want to share my last painting with you. It is still filling my heart with joy and gratitude – and masculine ocean energy! Here is the story about how I got inspired:
In June I spent a few days at the Baltic Sea, in dire need of calm, rest and recovery. After a long train ride, I went for a welcome walk at the beach. I kept finding heart shaped stones. It was as if the sea delivered them in front of my feet… trying to say something, reaching me, stimulating me, communicating with me.
It was the first time in months that I received images in my mind, played with them, and got inspired. Over the course of a few days, I calmed down, my mind and body relaxed, and my creativity and inspiration came through again. Interestingly, I saw and felt the sea-energy as warm yellow, and it felt distinctly masculine. So I received and received, charged my batteries, and enjoyed this gently yet powerful, loving and completing experience.
It took months to complete the painting, and as always, I got transformed in the process. But finally, here it is: Love Affair With the Ocean, 80cm*80cm mixed media acrylic painting. What do you think? Does it touch or move you? How?
